Banrisul Consórcios manages sales pool groups for the acquisition of vehicles, trucks, motorcycles and real estate properties. Seeking to offer customers alternatives for the acquisition of goods, the Bank sells real estate and vehicles consortia groups with maturities of up to 186 months and 72 months, respectively. In the real estate segment, letters of credit can be used for housing construction, remodeling and enlargement, as well as for the acquisition of new properties, land, parking space and commercial rooms.

Banrisul Cartões S.A.

Banrisul Cartões operates two product lines: (i) Vero Acquiring Network, which provides for the accreditation, capture, transmission, processing and financial settlement of transactions carried out with Banricompras, BanriCard, Visa, MasterCard, Elo, VerdeCard and VR Cards; and (ii) Banricard Business and Benefits Cards, which regards the issuance of prepaid and postpaid cards, administered through signed agreements. Banrisul Cartões main revenue source is derived from the merchant discount rate (MDR) from commercial establishments on the volume transacted in the Vero acquiring network, which is made up of the Acquirer Fee, Issuer Rate (Interchange Rate) and Flag Rate. Also from the Vero acquiring network, there are are monthly fees, equipment rental and connectivity. In relation to the BanriCard Business and Benefits Cards, the main revenues are derived from the reimbursement rate charged by merchants on the volume transacted and the administration fee charged to the companies.

Bem Promotora de Vendas e Serviços S/A

Bem Promotora de Vendas e Serviços acts as originator of payroll loans offered to INSS retirees and pensioners and federal civil servants. The balance of Banrisul’s credit transactions originated through Bem’s payroll loan platform reached R$4,134.6 million at the end of 2017. Bem Promotora ended the period with a net income of R$3.1 million.

Banrisul Icatu Participações S.A.

Being part of the economic group of Banrisul Icatu Participações S.A. (BIPAR), with Banrisul holding a stake of 49.9% of its capital, Rio Grande Seguros e Previdência S.A. has exclusive rights for the sale of life insurance and private pension plans utilizing Banrisul’s commercial channels. On December 20, 2017, Banrisul entered into an investment agreement with Icatu Seguros S.A. ("Icatu") in order to establish a strategic partnership between Banrisul and Icatu, consisting of the creation of a new company that will have exclusive rights for the offering of capitalization products within Banrisul’s distribution channels for 20 years. The objective of the partnership is to place Banrisul in a prominent position in the commercialization of these products in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and the Southern Region of Brazil, diversifying and increasing sources of revenue.
